Overall this is a very nice, quiet park. Part of the Thousand Trails program, if possible, take a spot at the bottom of the hill that backs up to the river. Lots of trails to walk on that staff keeps mowed and walkable.
One of the better thousands trails we've been too (okay, There's only been four so far) but it was much cleaner, more cared for, and a much nicer vibe. Bathrooms were very clean (though new shower heads would be really nice). Deer were present in the yard every day. Good spacing between sites. My main complaint, as always, is THE ROADS! I think I would have a heart attack on the spot if I ever encounter a decent thousand trails road! But the lower section of the road is beyond bad. This is the missing star TT!
The staff here or so friendly and helpful. Lots of activities. And acres and acres for hiking and enjoying wildlife.
