Definitely not worth the price. Don't waste your time or money. Ribs OK, brisket flavorless, potato salad and pea salads inedible, green beans good. $20 for 1/4 pound of brisket and 4 ribs. The sauce was horrific. Too sweet, too thick, almost like a homemade ketchup. In fact, ketchup would've been better. Overall, two overpriced thumbs down.

Another BBQ joint that I've been meaning to stop in. Having eaten Mikeska's catered 'Q a few times and given it an average score I never been in the restaurant. Brisket & sausage tasted and cooked just right (average) the sides (pinto beans, potato salad, buttered potatoes) were a bit above average. The serving sizes were weighed out to average. Friendly block man and servers. Definitely deserves many returns.

Stopped in for the Sunday $10.95 buffet (10:30 to 4). Around 6 choices of delicious barbequed meats, tons of tasty sides ranging from greens, carrots and green beans to dressing, potato salad, ranch beans and more. 3 kinds of breads and about 4 desserts. Everything was delicious! Plenty of seating so even though it was busy, we were comfortable. And for ambiance, the place is COVERED in stuffed critters: bears, moose, deer, squirrels, fish, etc. Will definitely go back.

I have been driving by this place for years and finally decided to stop by and try it....I just wanted a sample but bought the chicken and some brisket. I had also seen it on the travel channel show. I was sort of shocked at how good the bbq chicken was....it fell off the bone and was cooked perfectly. The brisket was well above average. The price is really good for what you get. This is obviously not your average factory raised, greasy, acidic sauce that goes everywhere and too much salt kind of bbq. The chicken was the best I have ever had. I am not a brisket person but you could sell this in Austin and charge a lot for it. Very good brisket. Sauce is really not needed on the chicken but is really good and pretty mild. Price is the best I have seen for a meal like this.....the price for a half chicken and a few slices of brisket was just above five dollars.

Greeted by gentleman in a bowtie who I assume was owner. Really good BBQ and the Sunday all you can eat is great. Especially for $10.95!
